Soha Ali's Scary experience with Ammi, Working with ammi was bit scary: Soha Ali Khan

Facing the camera with her mom was not an easy task for Soha Ali Khan who was "nervous" while shooting with Sharmila Tagore for the film "Life Goes On". This is the first time the duo will be seen together on screen.

"I didn't forget my lines or anything, but I was nervous because she has a very good aesthetic sense," Soha told IANS in an interview here.
"When in a good mood, she is amazing. But when in a bad mood, it's like the worst thing ever. But she was very good and restrained during shooting and also suggested to me to follow director Sangeeta Datta's instruction carefully," added the 32-year-old actor who was here for an event.

"Life Goes On" opens Friday and it is an emotional drama about generational conflict set in contemporary London.

Asked about her expectations, she said: "I have no expectation and I have learnt not to expect anything from films. Yes, it was great working for the movie. I got a chance to work with ammi (Sharmila). It's quite an emotional movie where the journey of the loss of a mother and family is portrayed in a sensitive way," she said.

Banker-turned-actress Soha made her debut with Anant Mahadevan's 2004 film "Dil Maange More" and featured next year in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Rang De Basanti".

For Soha, getting into showbiz was not an initial career choice, but thanks to her actor brother Saif and her mother, it soon became her profession too. Despite coming from an illustrious film family, she is still struggling for her share of limelight in tinseltown.

After the debacle of "Tum Mile", Soha is hoping for a better future in Bollywood.

"I was offered a variety of roles, which range from practical to interesting to downright outrageous, but things didn't work out well. This year you will see me in a variety of roles," said Soha.

Her first release will be "Chemistry" with Shreyas Talpade. Co-produced by Shreyas, the love story revolves around two people dumped by their respective partners and their lives afterwards.

"It's a mad role and you will see me in pink hair in it. My character is between Charlie Chaplin and Devanand Sagar. The character was a bit out of my normal acting range as I do more intense films. There is a lot of improvisation and laughs," she said.

"I am also doing a film called 'Sound track' which is opposite Rajiv Khandelwal. It is an official remake of Hollywood comedy 'It's All Gone Pete Tong '. Rajiv plays DJ and I play a girl who is born deaf. I find the role very interesting. It was difficult to get into that mode because I can't imagine life without sound and you can't work it out either. So I kept on forgetting the fact that I am playing a deaf girl," said Soha.

Talking about her personal life, Soha, who is dating Kunal Khemu, said she is ready to settle down in a couple of years.

"I am in comfortable space and we (Kunal and Soha) are happy with our career graphs; so whenever the right time comes, we will announce our marriage," she said.

What about Saif who said he'll get married before her as he's the elder brother?

"That's not necessary. I don't have to wait for anyone because I don't want to. If he takes 10 years then I will never wait. I don't know how long he will take, he might tie the knot tomorrow!" she said.

Saif likes me in a bikini: Bebo, Saif Likes Kareena in Bikini

Kareena Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most versatile actresses of the decade gone by. But it is Bebo's sex appeal that comes up for discussion at regular intervals.

On being asked why even the most recognised actresses crave for titles like sexy and hot, Bebo in her candid style says, "I love being called sexy. But then I'm equally charged about being recognised as a good actress. In my case, I first won notices for my work and then when the size zero phase happened, people started noticing my physical attributes. To me, the important fact is that I have got recognition as an actor. Now being called pretty, sexy, hot, powerful or any such thing is also flattering."

Ms Sensuous Kapoor, however, has vowed not to wear bikinis on screen anymore. And her reasons for this decision are surprising. One would imagine it is her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan who had put a spoke in the wheel. But Bebo says, "The bikini is a highly overrated garment. For me it has lost its' novelty. I have worn it twice on screen. In Tashan (2008) and in Kambakkht Ishq (2009). However my fans preferred me in Jab We Met (2007), 3-Idiots (2009) and Golmaal-3 (2010) where I stayed steered clear of exposing. I don't have the patience to go through the whole regimen that needs to be in place for your body to look bikini-perfect. So I've decided that I will not wear a bikini on screen again."

The actress however admits that we will get to see a flash of thigh and cleavage in some of her upcoming movies. Says Kareena, "The songs of RA.1 are hot, but in Bodyguard there is no skin show. In Agent Vinod too there is more style and pizzazz than any actual exposure. In Short Term Shaadi I'm playing a bohemian character."

Oh, and what are Saif's views on her decision not to wear bikini again? Does he also share her fans' view point? Flashing a naughty smile, her brown-eyes twinkling with laughter, Bebo says, "Saif likes me in a bikini. He has no issues with it. Saif actually prefers me glamourous. He liked me in Kambakkht Ishq; he thought I was very hot in it. He says that it is his personal choice but he doesn't necessarily want me to abide by it. Saif likes it when I use a bit of make-up and dress fashionably rather than when I step out looking like a plain-Jane."

Bebo can't part with Saif's private number

Saif Ali Khan has put one of his cellphones into a drawer and thrown the key away. That's right! The Junior Nawab of Pataudi usually gets grouchy and out of reach when he is shooting a film.

The actor, as everyone knows is on a start-to-finish schedule of Aarakshan in Bhopal. And, he doesn't wish to be disturbed. Of course, he still has another cellphone number on which he stays connected with his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, his children-Sarah and Ibrahim and his parents.

Now Bebo is in a dilemma because people who cannot reach Saif are constantly calling her. They want her to part with Saif's private number. The actress knows she can hardly say that she doesn't have Saif's number. Yet at the same time she has been asked by Saif not to give his number away! What will she do?
