Do I need to take separate appointments for my wife....I mean can I take one appointment on one Receipt # and check the status of hers too at infopass? On telephone call they always ask for the applicant when checking the status.
I'll take an infopass then...did u call us the customer service before the infopass...I am sure they'd have told you that your dependents are approved...I am sure infopass agent see the same screen as the customer reps at the Nat serv centers.

It is a general rule that the each adult applicant should be physically present at the USCIS office for the Infopass appointments, but the the IO that I had appointment with was very informative and cooperative. So, I was able to get the case details for my wife and dependant, but this may not be the case with other locations and IOs. No, The Infopass IOs can get more information about our cases than the NSC Level 1 customer reps.

Wow, I just tried the "yanks are coming" one. What the heck is that? Did you actually read all of that? I feel ashamed of myself when you say that. Maybe I am too busy or have very little patience. Probably useful articles, however, due to my inability to concentrate for long (I asume) I could not actually make out what that was all about :confused::confused::confused::D:D

we need visa recapture, elimination of country quota and simplification of ac21 rules

Dude I agree that we need Visa recapture but and additional 50K visas a year for EB will go a long way as well....
In current situation any increase in EB visas will help...

Seems like AP takes a longer route to the mail box in USCIS... Mine is at NSC and my experience is that everything out of there is slower...
Anyways I am greatful that they approved it and its in mail ( fingers crossed )
My AP was approved Sep 9th, and EAD on Sep 12th, got EAD yesterday(16th), no AP yet, hope they send it to me this week, I dont want to pay again and refile

They have a provision for deporting legal (and illegal) immigrants on their first DUI conviction. Seems to me they are now serious about creating an officialy declared permanent underclass in this country. The house Democrats are also singing the same chorus. I just can't believe that these are the same Democrats who we thought will replace the Republican Congress on the Hill and legalize every immigrants in this country. There were very few on this forum who thoght otherwise during 2006-CIR failure in the Republican congress.:mad:
